PRC Infant & Toddler Development Center:

In April 1999, the Parent Resource Center began a project to offer safe, reliable childcare for low to moderate-income families. The need for high quality childcare is a critical need in Stanislaus County, especially on the West Side of Modesto where there is an even greater need in infant and toddler care.

In an effort to address this critical need, the Parent Resource Center constructed a new childcare center located at 810 4th Street. The PRC Infant and Toddler Development Center is designed to provide services for up to 45 infants, toddlers and young children ages 6 weeks through age 5. The Parent Resource Center is proud to collaborate with Children's Crisis Center, also a child abuse prevention agency, who operates this center. The center, which began operation in November 2003, offers respite childcare for at-risk children with the assistance of a generous grant awarded from the Stanislaus County Children and Families Commission, Proposition 10.
